Thank you for your participation in Roswell Jr Hornets Cheer Tryouts 2012.  This is our 20th year of Roswell Jr Hornet Cheer and we are excited to see the sport of cheer so strong!  With 90 girls trying out today the tally process is long.  If you are selected for our 2012 Competition team we will have our first practice next Thursday at 4:15pm.  A parent meeting for competition will begin at 5:30pm.  If you have been selected for our 2012 Football Sideline Cheer team your first practice will be next Thursday at 6:00pm beginning with a parent meeting at 6:00pm.  If you have been selected for a Basketball Cheer team we will begin with a parent meeting on Thursday September 13th at 8pm.  All practices and meetings will take place at Cage Rage on Hwy 9 across from Andretti’s Speed Lab.

If you did not make a team we hope that you will continue working on your skills and tryout again next season!  There are many options here in Roswell to help you enjoy cheer in other organizations.  More details to follow…

WHAT IS IT?

The Haiti Athletics Drive is a drive for all sports equipment, such as soccer balls, footballs, baseballs cleats, etc.  The Roswell Jr. Hornet program has realized how lucky we are and that we should be giving to the less fortunate.  It’s a great honor to be in the Roswell Jr. Hornet program and we are blessed with the opportunity to play these sports but what we don’t look at is how other kids aren’t getting these same privileges so we have decided to give a little back.

WHERE IS IT?

The Jr. Hornets will go through half of the neighborhoods on each day.  We will be covering Brookfield, Edenwilde, Wexford, Hamilton Commons, Litchfield and Hembree Grove.  If you want to you can drop off equipment at 380 Morning Dew Circle, 30075.

WHEN IS IT?

Roswell Jr. Hornets will be going through the neighborhoods collecting items on April 17th and 18th.  On April 17th we will cover Brookfield from 11:30 to 2:00, Edenwilde from 2:15 to 3:30, and Wexford from 3:45 to 5:00.  On April 18TH we will cover Hamilton Commons from 2:00 to 3:30, Litchfield from 3:45 to 5:30, and Hembree Grove from 6:00 to 7:00
