What a great Cheer Camp weekend for our 2011 Roswell Junior Hornet Basketball Cheerleaders! Thanks to all for the hard work learning 25 (yes, 25!) new cheers and 5 dances! Thanks also to the RHS Basketball Cheerleaders, Coach Allison Smock, and Coach Kris Cather for their time and efforts to insure a successful camp. We look forward to starting practices on Tuesday, October 4th.

Dear Jr H ornet, It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Roswell Jr H ornet Cheerleading Program. This year there are many great new things planned and we will continue our tradition of having strong Roswell Cheerleading teams. Our coaching staff is one of great depth and experience. I am excited to have M eghan H urley returning with our 7th grade sideline team. She is a Roswell native where she was a competitive gymnast as well as a cheerleader for the Jr. H ornets, Roswell H igh School and also a competitive team out of Marietta. She is a 3rd grade teacher at Mountain Park. I am also
pleased to welcome new to our staff this year for our 6th Grade sideline, Kris Cather. She is from Southern California where she cheered at the high school, coll egiate and professional level. As a cheer instructor for United Cheer Association she worked with hundreds of cheerleaders in all
facets of the sport. Kris was also head cheerleader on her U.C. Berkeley (“Cal ”) team where she lead all practices and performances. W e are all looking forward to a wonderful year of helping your athlete develop and achieve in this 2011 season!
****Parent Meeting & Registration***** Will be held at Roswell High School Media Center on Thursday, March 31st at 7:30pm. You are highly encouraged to attend. All fees, camps and practice schedules and commitment will be covered.
